Physiology Over Ideology—Listen to Your Body #62
Your body needs what works, not what fits an ideology.
Here’s something important to remember—your body doesn’t care about your food ideology.
It only cares about what it actually needs to function optimally.
Sometimes, we become deeply committed to an approach that feels intellectually aligned—whether it’s keto, vegan, carnivore, paleo, or any other nutritional philosophy. It makes sense on paper, it fits our values, and we’re convinced it’s the right way.
But what happens when—despite our best efforts—we don’t get the results we expected?
What Do We Do Next?
More often than not, our instinct is to double down. To try harder. To be even stricter. Because persistence equals success, right?
Not always.
Sometimes, it’s a signal that your body needs something different.
Maybe your energy is crashing, your digestion feels off, or your performance is suffering. Instead of forcing your body to fit an ideology, listen to what it’s telling you.
Adaptability is the key to lasting health.
The best nutritional approach is one that evolves with you.
✅ Be open to feedback—track your energy, mood, digestion, sleep and strength.
✅ Challenge rigid thinking—what worked before may not work forever.
✅ Prioritize physiology over philosophy—your body’s signals matter more than dogma.
Your nutrition should serve you—not the other way around.
So, stay curious. Stay adaptable. Support your body’s needs over time.
You’ve got this! 🚀
