Nature Never Repeats Herself #70
You were designed to be one of a kind.
“Nature never repeats herself, and the possibilities of one human soul will never be found in another.” — Elizabeth Cady Stanton
Take a moment to feel into that…
The possibilities within your soul—your gifts, your essence—will never be found in another.
There is only ONE YOU!
I find it grounding and deeply affirming to be in nature, to witness firsthand that nature never repeats herself. Every bird, every insect, every flower, tree, and animal—each is uniquely its own. So much diversity, so much beauty.
And yet, somewhere along the way, we get these rigid ideas about what it means to be beautiful, worthy, or successful.
But does the blue jay compare itself to the cardinal? No. It simply is.
Is a rose better than a lily? Is a lion more beautiful than a giraffe?
It sounds ridiculous to compare them, right?
Nature thrives in its diversity. And that’s exactly why we love it. Imagine stepping outside and seeing only one kind of tree, one kind of animal, one kind of flower.
Weird, right?
And yet—sometimes we forget that we are nature too.
Imagine if every person looked the same, did the same thing, followed the same path. Wouldn’t that be boring?
You were designed to be one of a kind. So embrace that. Don’t try to be the same. Don’t even try to be different. Just be you. Because there will never be another.
When we fully embody this truth, we become more luminous than we ever thought possible.
Nature is abundant—there is plenty of space in this world for you to be who you are.
And if you need a little musical inspiration, listen to Just Do You by India Arie.
Actually… let’s break it down right here:
“Just do you—somebody’s got to be a star.
Just do you—somebody’s got to raise the bar.
Just do you—somebody’s got to change the game.
Just do you—today.
If you create the game, then you create the rules.
And if you just be you, there’s no way you can lose.”
You are entirely unique, never to be repeated.
You have something valuable to offer—to your family, your community, and the world.
So go out there and own it.
You’re awesome!
