It’s been another fantastic week as the countdown to Heroic Elite heats up and the New Year quickly approaches.

Plus a Notre Dame Fighting Irish football victory in the first round of the playoffs! ☘️🏈

It’s been fun to see the whole organization demonstrate antifragility after an unexpected early season loss… flipping the switch and activating their best.

As Brian shared on social:

2. Making a Commitment

Heroes are putting their name on a sheet—committing to joining Elite—and seeing results. (And we haven’t even started yet!!)

Like Matt, who shared: “#Heroic ELITE #GrittyCommunity. No days into ELITE and I’m now lugging 2 kettlebells up the stairs everytime I go as opposed to one, my energy identity has evolved to Heroic Warrior ELITE, I’ve become far more dedicated to repeating a mantra during the day, I’ve gone out for late evening walks to hit my 51% floor activity target, and I’m more focused on my WINS at work.”

4. “Completely transformed my life”

A few incredible stories of transformation from Heroic Social this week!

First, let’s hear from Derek, who shared:

“Heroic has completely transformed my life. I’ve been part of this incredible community since the very beginning, inspired by Brian’s work from Philosopher’s Notes to now.

When the Heroic app launched, everything changed. I’ve lost over 70 pounds, gained incredible energy, and found a new level of mental clarity I never thought possible. One of my proudest achievements has been completing three Conqueror Challenges, riding 477 miles on my Peloton bike—a massive accomplishment for someone who started at 355 pounds.

For over 20 years, I’ve battled depression and borderline personality disorder, challenges that have tested me mentally and physically. But Heroic has shown me what’s possible when you commit to growth, embrace challenges, and show up every day.

Through Heroic, I’ve pushed past limits I never believed I could overcome, consistently meeting weekly and daily goals that seemed impossible before. This journey has been nothing short of life-changing, and I’m living proof that no matter where you start, transformation is within reach.”

Then we have George, who shared:

“Reflecting on the beautiful letters from Michael and Brian to their parents. Both brought tears to my eyes. My parents divorced when I was 4. I was raised by my father. My mother struggled with alcoholism and depression, so she was an inconsistent presence in my life until she died of liver failure at the age of 50. I was 19.

My father grew up in a very abusive environment, which thankfully he did not pass on to me. The challenges of his childhood left him with great insecurities that he tried to cover with the pursuit of money and status at the cost of his health and relationships. He died from sleep apnea related heart failure at the age of 58. I was 30. I had a 5-month-old son.

I promised myself then that I would do everything in my power to be the mother that my son deserves and to break the patterns of generational trauma that plagued both sides of my family. Sometimes I work too much. Sometimes my anxiety prevents me from being present. Sometimes I leave dishes in the sink. There’s a gap between who I am and who I want to be for my son. That’s why I’m joining Heroic Elite.

I’ve been class one of every program Heroic has offered. Heroic’s mission is my mission. Getting 51% of humanity flourishing by 2051 means protecting so many people from the suffering that ultimately led to the death of both of my parents. It means a better life for me. It means a better life for my son, Charlie. It means a better life for you and your children. I am humbled by the audacity and the gravity of the mission. But I know with all of us working together, it’s possible. It’s Day 1. LFG!”

At last (but certainly not least!) we have Mike, who shared how Warriors’ Ascent, a Kansas City-based nonprofit is using Heroic to further their mission: “helping veterans, first responders, and everyday individuals experience Post-Traumatic Growth. (PTG)”
