If you missed the Complain Less, Celebrate More Game, all good, because on Monday, April 15th, our community is going to play a new game: Simplify.

The focus for the next 30 days is to simplify our lives. Woohoo! 🎉
We will be simplifying our homes and lives so that we can focus more on the things that matter the most to us! 💥
We will be donating/recycling/eliminating and engaging in mindful tech and mindful buying. We will also be limiting/eliminating things from our lives so that we can create more space to take our Heroic selves to the next level! 🎯
GAME RULES:
- Donate/Recycle/Trash: How much do you want to let go every day? Pick a number that feels challenging but doable. It could be 3 or up to 30.
- Mindful Tech: What would this look like for you? No digital news, no social media, or limiting technology. Create some constraints around some of your kryptonite tech habits.
- Mindful Buying: What would this look like for you? It could be waiting to purchase things, only buying essentials or some other sort of constraint to limit the incoming things into your life.
This may be a perfect challenge for you. But, you can also add 1-2 more targets for things you want to simplify. It could be your calendar, nutrition, email inbox, etc. Again, look for the areas that you feel may cause the most stress and create targets to limit them for the month.
Remember to add your TARGETS and hit them daily!
You WIN the day when you hit those targets! 🔥
Here are some ideas to get you started:
🎯 Donate/Recycle/Trash
- Take one (or thirty!) thing(s) from your closet you no longer wear and put it (them) in a box to donate to charity. #WIN
- Delete or organize digital files, emails, or photos that are not necessary. #WIN
- Check your pantry, fridge, or medicine cabinet for things that are expired products and (safely) get rid of them. #WIN
🎯 Mindful Tech
- Set a daily maximum screen time for personal use and track your use with an app. #WIN
- Set specific times to check and respond to emails instead of reacting to them as they arrive. #WIN
- Start or end (or BOTH!!!!) your day with a tech-free hour. #WIN
🎯 Mindful Buying
- Each morning, reflect on the necessary purchases for the day. If an item isn’t on your essentials list, postpone buying it. #WIN
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails and notifications from e-commerce sites to reduce the temptation to buy spontaneously. #WIN
- Keep a daily purchase log, then review the log at the end of the week to find patterns and areas you can cut back. #WIN
