The Complain Less & Celebrate More Game
We had so much fun doing the Heroic Energy Game! And, it looks like you have too, with over 250 posts on Heroic social using #heroicenergygame. (Search that hashtag on social to see the awesomeness!)
If you missed the Heroic Energy Game, all good, because on Monday, March 11th, our community is going to play a new game: Complain Less & Celebrate More.
The focus for the next 30 days is to complain less and celebrate more. Woohoo! 🎉
We’ll be mindful of complaints, criticisms and gossip and then turn them around into gratitude, appreciation and celebration. We’ll practice cultivating empowering speech and self-talk. It’s going to be awesome and powerful! 🤩
The goal will be to catch yourself complaining, criticizing or gossiping and then turn it around into gratitude, appreciation and celebration. 🙌
You WIN the day when you do this 3 times! 🔥
🎯 Example #1:
You think or say that you’re so frustrated about the weather, the kids, the work, the traffic, etc.
Catch yourself and turn it around and find something to appreciate and celebrate about the weather, kids, work or the traffic. #WIN
🎯 Example #2:
You think or say that someone is so selfish, messy, irresponsible, ignorant, etc.
Catch yourself and apologize if needed and then, turn it around and appreciate and celebrate something about that person. #WIN
🎯 Example #3:
You say to yourself: "Ugh, I’m never going to figure this out. I’m a failure. I can’t do it."
Catch yourself and have self-compassion and then, turn it around and appreciate and celebrate yourself for something. #WIN
Schedule
We’ll have weekly calls on Monday at 1 pm CT (add them to your calendar here).
If you can jump on these calls it really makes such a difference to experience our incredible community coming together. If you can’t you will be able to watch the replays on this page once they're available.
Let us know if you’ll be playing on Alexandra’s social post here. 🙋♀️🙋
And here are some Philosopher’s Notes to help with the game: A Complaint Free World, Gratitude Works!, The Power of TED*, Nonviolent Communication, Loving What Is.
Looking forward to playing with y'all!
